Blog No 35 Copy of My Memoir

While writing my memoir I was often asked when my book would be completed and become available. I now have good news--an actual copy of my book is in my hand and is called a proof. (It was formerly called a galley proof that referred to a long tray into which metal letters were placed for the printing press.) A proof is the final step before the book is published and allows for a last minute review to check for errors and make alterations. I will keep you posted as to when it is available and how it can be obtained.

I am using a new platform for my blog that allows for you to sign up. It is free and only requires you to sign up with your email address and whenever I post a blog you will automatically receive a notice in your email. My previous platform did not have this feature.
